Welcome to The Yellow Barn.  Three years ago when we bought this  barn as an investment property, we had no idea how much it would change our lives.  What started out as a building to house my husband’s CPA business has grown to also include a photography studio and a retail shop.

Originally another business was leasing the main shop, and they didn’t want to use the foyer areas, because people would be walking through them, I wanted them to look nice, so I would decorate with statues, figurines, etc and pretty soon I had many people wanting to know if they could purchase the decorations, and the retail shop was born.

The Yellow Barn includes a wide variety of gifts that fit into every price level.  We have a little bit of everything including a baby boutique, jewelry, home and garden décor, pictures, Timeworks clocks, etc.  We think of The Yellow Barn as a little bit of country in the city.

We like to use ordinary things in extraordinary ways.  One of my favorite sayings is ‘Feather your nest’, and that’s what we are trying to do.
